New Head Offices for Nicholas King Homes, Penn.

cHOROS was commissioned to assist Nicholas King Homes to develop the site for thier new offices at Penn.

Nicholas King particularly wished to use a wide range of natural materials and to reflect the small scale Architectural style of the new office buildings by incorporating a variety of Architectural features within the building elevations.

cHOROS was asked to suggest materials and selected a mix of granite and porphyry setts, and a variety of quartzites.

cHOROS worked with Nicholas King Homes to design elevations and to create an attractive and varied hard landscape that has settled into the existing landscape character of the area.

Granada Motorway Services

cHOROS worked with other consultants to design a Granada new image. Work involved creating two standard courtyard designs for new service areas that allowed easy pedestrian circulation, protection for residential accommodation, outside seating and picnic areas and space for childrens play.

The Mariott Hotel, Heathrow

cHOROS was asked to create a new image for the frontage of the Hotel. The scheme required a visual screen between the Hotel and road to reduce the perception of traffic noise. cHOROS responded by utilising large feature stones, mature pine trees and bold timber work to create a new step access, seating and retaining walls to soften the image of the entrance.
